There are few pleasures as unforgettable as drifting gently over breathtaking views. Feel the excitement as you lift off and drift effortlessly over the spectacular scenery. As the climbing goes on unnoticed, find yourself amidst endless horizons of rugged mountains and green fields with only the burners to disturb the peace.

Watch your pilot gradually lower the balloon to inches above the evergreen trees as you pick leaves or touch the tree tops, spot a bird or an animal waking to the daybreak.

Flights take off at sunrise and floating at heights of 500 to 2000 feet on average, this feeling of peace and tranquility is apparent from the extent of sighs and smiles as the earth seems to slowly descend below you whilst the views rapidly expand.

While you effortlessly drift over the treetops, wildlife, lakes and rivers, cultural sites, local urban homesteads, landmarks like Sigiriya Rock, Golden Buddha and many more are in the view.

Flights Details

Daily sunrise flights, but totally weather dependent. 1 Hour in the air, champagne toast at landing, fruit juice and chilled bottled water available.

Launch Site & Time

Kandalama between 5.45 AM - 6.00 AM. Passengers need to be at the launch site at 5.30 AM.

Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation. US$ 25,000/ per passenger. A copy of policy will be forwarded on request.

Rules and Regulations

Flight cancellations will depend on the weather conditions, most times we are able to inform the passengers the night prior to the flight date. If canceled for weather issues there will be a refund of 100%. No show will not entitle you to a refund.

Pregnant ladies not advised to take the flight and in case of younger children, please talk to the service provider.
